Shadows
This project is inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson’s concept of The Decisive Moment, the fleeting instant when all elements align harmoniously and a skilled photographer captures an image that can last forever. In today’s hyper-accelerated world, where waiting is rarely an option, I wanted to reclaim the art of patience. With a contemplative and attentive gaze I chose to wait for the right light, the perfect composition, and the unique instant to press the shutter.
Over 180 days and more than 720 hours spent around the Canal Saint-Martin in Paris, I pursued those rare moments when elements align almost choreographically to form visual stories. The result is a body of work that honors patience as an act of resistance and transforms waiting into a poetic, deeply human narrative.
